Hello Everyone!
Can you believe we're actually one week away from Halloween? This year is flying by and there's still so much left to do. Writing wise of course! 😉 Our church will be having a Trunk or Treat at one of the local areas and my husband and I are planning on decorating our trunk. It's so much fun to see all the decorating ideas people come up with. I have no costume, but I think the kids won't mind, just as long as there's candy. 🍭🍫🍬
Some other fun and not so fun things happening in my life right now. Since moving back to our old town, I started working at a preschool teaching two year olds. I've realized that I can't keep up with them like I used to. I miss my twenties! Heck, I miss my forties! 🤣 Along with teaching kids come the not so fun stuff. Several of the kids have been sick and well, lucky me, I've been home from work with strep. ☹️ My ears hurt and my throat feels like it's on fire, but thankfully I have antibiotics to help fight this illness. So, while I'm at home, I will take every opportunity I get to work on book two of my YA series. I have missed being able to stay home and write. I took it for granted when I was able to and now I'm regretting it big time! There's been a lot of things that I took for granted and I can't apologize to the Lord enough. Anyway, that's another topic for another time. I'm just grateful that He loves me AND forgives me when I fail. It's His kindness that leads us to repentance. Thank You Jesus!!!❤️
I am currently working on editing my book. I'm on Chapter 19 of 27, so I'm making some progress! This is round 2 of edits and I'm thinking after this round, I'll be looking for BETA readers. I might put something together like a BETA Team so that I don't have to put a call out every time. My goal is to have book 2 ready for publication by mid 2024. Which, when you really think about it, isn't that far off. I mentioned earlier how fast October has flown by.
